you ever get emotional at scenes in a book where a character just like. stays over at someone’s place. for a while. and it’s just not a big deal? they just house em and feed em and no money changes hands and this is just normal?
This is called a 'ben bayit' ('son of house') where I'm from and I have been on both the receiving and giving ends of it. Can confirm it can be very emotional
