i actually don't need money anytime soon. it's so much more about the actual activity i'm doing than about the money. i mostly just can't do anything some part of me has an objection to, empirically

Is the objection to...making money from X? If not, I must have misunderstood. If yes - my point was: would thinking about money as a resource that could allow you to do X better help at all with removing the objection?

Or maybe you have lots of money accruing interest at a rate you could live off, in which case making money could be a way for you to support other projects/causes you believe in.
