i don't really get the original joke tbh, ai is super fun to work on

moving from most of my friends being venture backed ceos (i was one too) to mostly researchers everyone's like 10x as happy

i hate to dunk on any jokes but i also don't want people not going into ai because they think it's full of miserable researchers

oh, I think he meant that if they love humans they wouldn't want to work on AI. I'm sufficiently optimistic on this point that I didn't register that frame
I think AI is our best shot at giving everyone access to the entire life we already know is inside them -- they deserve it
