sorry for saying we got nowhere. we got a lot of where. i went on high dose of lamictal for seven months and i've been off for a few weeks but things seem to remain fairly settled in my neurochemistry. food x neurochemistry x emotions is quite a big can of worms to open though

at age... 24-26, not sure when, acquired a sensitivity to apples, during a pretty stressful period of my life and have been finding more and more sensitivities since: broccoli (in large quantities), garlic (REAL SAD ABOUT THIS ONE), onions, and whatever today's was is new

think it's something like if i eat food that is like uh idk the sort of food that people become sensitive / allergic to, while i am also having a bad time emotionally, then that all gets mixed up somehow (esp. if i'm holding tension in my stomach??? who knows)

VSl#3 is a fairly expensive probiotic but it did wonders for me. If you go the fodmaps route, remember that you are supposed to elimnate everything for a while, but eventually you want to reintroduce food groups to your diet or u may starve your microbiome of that type of bactria
