i thought it was feelings 😅
(it might still be feelings but it’s being heightened by the allergy response idk i don’t think there’s a hard separation between the two anyway)

Did you not get lectured up and down about food ✖️ brain by Dai ? He has a vast developed framework on this

Also and I went through a years long journey tryna figure out this thing where I was having seizures (maybe?…) with food and kinda got nowhere except just eating plain chicken and rice seemed fine

sorry for saying we got nowhere. we got a lot of where. i went on high dose of lamictal for seven months and i've been off for a few weeks but things seem to remain fairly settled in my neurochemistry.
food x neurochemistry x emotions is quite a big can of worms to open though

at age... 24-26, not sure when, acquired a sensitivity to apples, during a pretty stressful period of my life
and have been finding more and more sensitivities since: broccoli (in large quantities), garlic (REAL SAD ABOUT THIS ONE), onions, and whatever today's was is new

think it's something like if i eat food that is like uh idk the sort of food that people become sensitive / allergic to, while i am also having a bad time emotionally, then that all gets mixed up somehow (esp. if i'm holding tension in my stomach??? who knows)
oh and gluten, how could i forget gluten, cutting out gluten made all sorts of wacky good stuff start happening
