bro every single episode of courage the cowardly dog scared me real bad thats part of why i love mr.pickles so much, its basically the opposite of that show (tho i dont recommend mr.pickles unless u like adult swim style stuff in general)

it wasnt that it was scary, tho it was very it was that it depicted a sensitive creature (traumatized early, always expecting a repeat) with a deeply limited ability to communicate its inner world to older humans was hard not to see ourselves in him & that made it all too much
