Pretty sure a friend gave me some in (it seems) 2014, but I have no idea if a small amount then would still be a small amount now, or how it's stored etc

At that time you would have likely had a software wallet, Iām guessing. Did you install anything on your computer for it?

Ah, ok, looks like you did download a wallet (sorry didnāt look at the attached gif). If you can open the wallet, and remember your passwords (good luck), you may be able to recover it.

yep, this! itās not exactly āstoredā anywhere (except on the dogecoin blockchain), you just need the password to your wallet afaik
if you find it you can try to sell on bittrex or kraken
