I actually wasn't allowed to read anything like that. I was raised by Jehovah's witnesses, so it was basically Disney or mild nickelodeon for me.

Totally, it's interesting to see what makes it through and why. I still marvel at the fact that I couldn't watch Scooby Doo, even though EVERY TIME it was a guy in a mask.

Yup, but nobody would even check it out enough to notice it was fake. That was the real kicker for me.
