Looking to do some 1.5-2 hour emotional processing/transformational coaching sessions with people, looking for someone who's willing for this to be recorded and shared (we'll keep it relatively content-free to avoid sharing sensitive details)

I have done a lot of IFS, but I don't know what to write about it. I can answer your questions in this thread or in dms. I will also be grateful for ideas for blog posts/long threads.

I'm feeling existentially adrift after reading
@QiaochuYuan's thread(s) yesterday abt his rat+EA past, & I would be grateful for the opportunity to casually dialogue, hear about your journey thru/beyond rationalism, etc.

I'm getting a comp sci degree but i could apply for a Retail Store Operations internship which I think sounds like a really practical, helpful set of skills

How to stop negative thought spirals?

Replying to
1. Talk to someone you trust
Sometimes negative thoughts occur when a person has issues or emotions that must be addressed. It's not good to keep something to yourself. If you have something to deal with, you should talk to someone.

2. Change your mind. Negative thinking is a result of a bad perspective. Why not take a look back and think about how you take a stand against the things that are happening around you?

For example, instead of thinking," I'm having a hard time and I'm having a problem," think," I'm facing some challenges, but I'm trying to find a solution." Trust me, perspective will put a big difference in your mindset.
