this is a different variant but check this shit out. are you really playing chess if you don't have a piece called a "fire demon"

Tenjiku Shogi, I assume. It's actually playable.
My favorite is the slightly smaller variant Chu Shogi which is quite playable and fun (if you like that kind of game.)
