Watching Korra S1E1 and liking it more than I expected. (I was told it’s not as good.) Republic City seems pretty clearly based on NYC. The callbacks to ATLA are fun. I’m appreciating the worldbuilding, feels like a nice RPG, something like... Horizon meets Spider-Man PS4, lol

korra has a great aesthetic from the get-go but i'm not sure it paid off story-wise the way i was hoping. iirc the middle seasons get sloppy and then it gets better at the end? been awhile though
