the defenders of SSRIs point to the mood question having a particular response but there’s some evidence that SSRIs inhibit emotional crying without affecting mood lol

anecdata: I cried far less on SSRIs despite being just as depressed as I was off of them

I cried more after I left my job and my daily work/commute cycle and felt better for it. melted away tension from my face and body

Guy on left was too trapped/stuck to cry. Emotionally constipated
