I'd like to see references to those studies. The sugar content of fruit, especially fructose, can have negative consequences (even when eating the whole fruit with it's fibre).

I think that's probably true but I've found it's way easier to substitute fruit carbs for crap carbs than it is to cut out carbs entirely, and that arbitrary amounts of fruit carbs seem basically fine.

there's definitely still glycemic load problems - you really can't just feed diabetics anything, and there's some interesting evidence that non-diabetics should also eat in terms of insulin performance anyway - but on the whole I believe this: carbs should be paired with fiber

ive cut down crap carbs entirely for almost a week now and switched to apples and oranges and honestly, i do feel good. experience less lethargy and more mental awareness. feels great
