You can get these ‘make your own window screen’ kits, they’re super straightforward and surprisingly satisfying.
10/10 would recommend.

I spent three weeks in summer heat waking up to a myriad of bites each morning before realizing my window did indeed have a screen. It pulled down from behind the glass. Much to my roommates' amusement.
So uh, check your window to be sure 😅

i have entered my window from the outside (it opens out to the roof and i got stuck there once) so i am pretty sure i would know at this point lol
