tits and wiener worked in completely different fields which is unfortunate because otherwise they could've cowritten some papers together. just imagine it. we could've had "the tits-wiener theorem"

Surely you can find some contrived connection between their works and prove at least a trivial theorem just so you can name it that?

it's rough man. tits was a group theorist and wiener did work in like stochastic processes and invented cybernetics and stuff 🤔
