So is the 4th dimension time so you say that at time x the cables are already untangled or is the no tangoes in 4d some fancy topological thing?

you can visualize it as time but it's a little confusing when you're also trying to talk about a process happening over time (moving a bunch of stuff around in 4d) so i think it's less confusing to visualize it as something else like color

there are some neato math analogies. optimization landscapes and gradient descent and simulated annealing and stuff like that are i think genuinely powerful ideas for thinking about what sort of thing a mind is
