apropos of nothing in particular, i really do not want to be buried in a coffin when i die. doesn't feel right to make my loved ones go through the expense and i also don't like the idea of my body being cut off from the ecosystem. sky burial sounds kinda nice tho

The body stays exposed to the elements, especially birds. Et voila decomp. Maybe called that because the parts of the body will be in birds, in the sky
