I think this is one of those times where emotional honesty gets in the way

yeah i guess i’m saying i don’t like any of these options (except the top one lol) but the bottom one at least has honesty going for it, the other ones obscure the underlying dynamics more. eg what is a “mistake”? what gives you the right to assume someone has made one? etc.
