Before reading this tweet it had literally never occurred to me that any man might ever consider it part of his personality to be a good husband to me This was actually quite impactful, and I felt a shift in my perspective on relationships, so thanks

I work on myself in large part to become a better future husband, but my friend helped me realize I also do it to become a better future father. It's become clear to me over the last few months how much I've been fucked up by how my father treated me, and I will do better.
