Haha yeah my parents and I emigrated when I was a kid so I feel at least as culturally British as I do Chinese.

you can set up a chrome search engine to make searching your own tweets as smooth as possible too. the one for my tweets is "tq" (and here's the tweet where i describe how to do this, which i found using the search itself)

you seriously will not understand how much better having custom search engines for tweets makes twitter until you use them long enough to search reflexively w/o thinking. in chrome go to settings -> manage search engines -> add, then add a search engine like this
