link does not work for me but i used to have real bad sleep paralysis! plus i was grinding my teeth at the same time so i got to learn what it feels like to grind your teeth but also be paralyzed and unable to stop. felt like my teeth were exploding

yep, that link works! and hooooly crap this is wild. my sleep paralysis hallucinations pretty much always involve specific people i know; the worst one i used to get was this ringing voice of my dad yelling at me. these days when i get them they're often benign though
once i hallucinated a friend lying on top of me but like in a friendly way, it was kinda fun. it's super interesting to me that you get unfamiliar entities. i guess once they show up once they show up more easily forever...

and yeah i just gradually came out of it over the course of a few years, didn't really do anything on purpose. gradually improving my sleep hygiene was good and getting a better handle on my feelings was probably good too
