i donāt think iāve actually told this story anywhere in writing, so: the reason my math blog is called āannoying precisionā is that when i was 15 i went to a math camp and the head instructor, glenn stevens, said in the intro lecture āmathematicians are annoyingly preciseā

it depends on what you mean by āmoreā! the squares have e.g. natural density 0 which is a decent way to formalize the intuitive idea that they get more and more sparse
