really weird to catch myself suppressing pleasure but if i let in how good my body feels rn all the way i would be making some socially unacceptable noises

it comes and goes but i get these waves of invincibility that i haven't felt much of since 2018 and it's very nice. this like "i could do anything" feeling. i could jump on a fence. i could talk to a girl

Happy to hear . Embodiment is happening.
Garry Schwartz once shared with me as simple insight. You can't expect the body to maintain homeostasis without a feedback mechanism.
It seems our muscles, part of the "voluntary NS", needs our awareness to do so.

It's been so long since I lifted. I've grown to associate it with extreme tension, so it's wild to hear you're getting relaxation from it!
Who might know what's happening?

Shoulder blades get messed up from excess tension due to stress hormones and lack of neuromuscular connection due to aforementioned stress cocktails. Lack of differentiation of muscle tissue confuses proprioception particularly as it relates to breathing.
