awhile back my housemates rescued a dog and that's how i learned that it's possible to be annoyed with a dog which is a fact i wish i didn't know
doesn't help that i'm too allergic to play with her ๐ฉ
Conversation
she keeps begging me for food every time i eat in a common area and it got bad enough that i stopped eating in common areas ๐
is this what hot girls feel like? i think i get it now

it's actually a cool story. by "rescue" i don't mean they went to a place i meant they saw a dog on the street that was hiding under a car while being yelled at by some guy and they straight up rescued the dog from the guy

i have learned a lot about the virtue of hope from my dog who despite me taking coffee out of the same container multiple times a day every day and never giving her any, still sits and looks at me every single time like maybe - today - i will finally give her some. inspirational

unfortunately dogs interpret any sort of interaction with them as an invitation for more play, including interactions meant to get them to leave you alone (This is also a metaphor)

I used to train dogs.
If dog enters your personal space, enter their space to push them back. Own your space.
Eg: dog gets mouthy, uncomfortably but gently punch your hand into their mouth instead of withdrawing your hand. If you withdraw, the dog wins.

You've received better advice already but here's a video of a wolf getting annoyed with some pups youtube.com/watch?v=SsVnKe (I'm not sure the pups even get the message)
