it comes and goes in waves and when a whole big portion relaxes at once,,, pure bliss

what if,,, happiness is merely the complete absence of muscle tension

muscle tension is in some sense a sign of internal conflict, possibly at a very low level. it means parts of you are disagreeing about how to actuate your muscles

woke: what people actually want is meaning
bespoke: what people actually want is to know which muscles to actuate at any given time, and that's what meaning is for

heart lasers and perfectly serene face with zero muscular tension. the face of serenity is an interesting motif across religions - almost a little sleepy-eyed- the Buddha has it too

Imagine experiencing happiness as immediately collapsing into a blissed out puddle

would make so much sense tbh. esp since a lot of evidence shows that there’s a physiological basis for most emotion, ex. you feel fear BECAUSE your heart starts racing, pupils dilate, etc.
maybe enlightenment is to reserve 100% of signals for brain and 0% for muscle?

If your body is full of tension = psychological trauma, those traumas are salient anchor points for your send of what and where your body is. If you integrate all that, your sense of body (and perhaps self) can locally dereference; one vector for oneness + no self
