spent a large chunk of yesterday messing around with face, shoulder, and upper back tension and it seems to have done something good although who knows how long it’ll last this time
been holding my face in a bunch of grimaces and waiting for the resulting tension to shake out

it’s wild when the muscles squirm like there’s an alien parasite trying to burst out

What did you do?
I have shoulder/upper back tension that I've done a ton of work on, but it always seems to come back.

i've been tweeting a bit about this, but ICYMI: try focusing on, and relaxing the roof of your mouth—it's a wild hack that makes you feel like you're melting from the face downwards

I know you said it was improvised, but do you have any favorite methods for releasing physical tension?
E.g. Somatic Experiencing, Feldenkrais, Bioenergetics, etc.
