frustrated that i don’t have a really smooth and easy workflow for generating diagrams and graphs and shit. it would be nice to be able to effortlessly post animations of standing waves and stuff as easily as i can effortlessly post text

legends speak of LaTeX extensions the great masters use to effortlessly generate diagrams using only text

i’ve worked with some of those but it’s not particularly effortless. maybe i need to use full-blown mathematica 🤔

that does seem pretty good 🤔 i have some kind of weird aversion to programming tho and i don’t really know where it came from, didn’t have it as a kid

Similar pain point: I'd love to be able to quickly make block diagrams and back-of-envelope mechanical sketches for communicating visual ideas that text isn't suited for.
I often revert to sketching on paper & taking a phone photo, which is bad - fast creation but zero editing.

i used an ipad app called paper to draw a bunch of diagrams for a few grad classes i took. people loved them but it was never as effortless to get them out of the app and into a pdf as i wanted
