Hmmm tbh I suspect I won't be happy with a blogging platform I didn't write myself lol. I guess part of the problem is I don't know what I want.

I already have a system set up for my website (that a friend wrote) but there are some things I seriously dislike about it nowadays: - file names = URLs = menu entry names. I don't like URLs going dead when I rearrange stuff - strict hierarchical structure

The fundamental problem I have is that I need to keep all my entries organised. I don't think I like full hierarchy but I don't like chronological + tags either, IDK.

Fuck it, I'm just gonna set up a wordpress site for now. Can always migrate to something custom later.
