anyone wanna talk about how applying the central limit theorem to a random walk in 2D reproduces the euclidean metric starting from a *grid* it’s fucked up and wrong and i’m still trying to figure out what it means

not sure what the <> means in this context? is that the delta function?

<> is ensemble average i should clarify that it’s something like <delta(x(t))> with the average fixing a boundary condition for x(0) this feels like Extremely cursed physicist magic but i derived a highly nontrivial result with this stuff once and it was amazing
