thanks for the replies everyone. moving them slowly and breathing slowly helped. finally lifted again after 2 weeks (gym was too exposed to the air) and that’s helping a lot

Muscles come in opposing pairs.
Tension is their simultaneous use over time.
Whenever that happens, the WEAKER muscle hurts.
To fix shoulder tension, find and relax the hidden STRONGER muscle(s).
The ones UNDER your shoulders.
