huh it’s pretty fun having math QC and feelings QC more integrated. i think i felt like... embarrassed about mixing them before or something? some kinda longstanding “only talk about math with other math people or you’ll make peopple feel bad for being bad at it” thing

I kind of need a take for part of my brain to wrestle with all day while I do boring shit. It keeps that part of my brain from sounding alarm bells needlessly or starting stuff with others IRL because it’s bored and restless. Twitter, Reddit are great suppliers for that

Apparently my son fills this need with math and it works well without him having to learn words like hypergamy and postrationalism but I have never enjoyed math so ☹️
