one of the MIT dorms had a convention called "Random standard time" (Random was the name of the dorm) where the day begins at 6 o'clock and ends at 30 o'clock

i think TV scheduling (at least in some countries) uses 24:00, 25:00, 26:00 for stations that sign off early in the morning
