Here are the relevant claims of each of the papers. AFAICT the gender test is dumb and made up and the citations are mostly irrelevant

i think the authors are like "women care about fairness & social consequences and therefore equal payout is feminine!" but I'M a woman who cares about those things and it seems unfair to ever decide for someone else that they should get less than the max payout available to them!
