yeah, i got casually feminine while trying not to think too much about each question and just going with a snap judgement
but it felt like i was optimizing more for preventing hurt feelings than for maximizing money handed out

many of the situations most of the money went to one of the others, gotta convince them

that's interesting. A gets $15, B gets $25, C gets $20. really odd to me, but i know people who, as C, would get upset if A gave them $5 to make them stop moaning about how much B has.

i wonder if there’s something like a deep assumption that the pie is fixed and finite
like i noticed i was answering as if the experimenters had effectively infinite money and it wouldn’t meaningfully affect them if the total pie was bigger or smaller
This is essentially accurate as far as the framing goes, no? Research funding is >> $12, and they funded research to learn about the human condition, so my distributing the money according to my whims is putting it to its highest and best use.
