fwiw I was homeschooled/unschooled by a disorganized parent w/out a college degree who just got me all the books I wanted. I wish I'd known about more books to want but I think I've turned out pretty good so far!! do with this information what you will

guys I don't even know what calculus is or does or what the goal is!! like algebra is letters, geometry is shapes, trigonometry is...ok I also do not know what trig is this is gonna be great

calculus is when you want to add infinitely many things and figure out what is happening in an infinitely small instant of time. it is truly dark sorcery and teaching it to children is deeply irresponsible
lolol thru this lens I think I will either be obsessed or be saying "fuck this immediately" time will tell

There’s a train passing by, I wonder how fast it’s going right now. So I measure it, but how? I’ll have to see how far it travels in, say, three seconds. One second would be more “accurate”—best would be an extremely short time span.
