Okay so I'm not even going to pretend to understand this but GRAVITY the only thing I ever feel like I've been anything-pilled was when a physicist explained to me that Newtonian gravity was wrong (gravity is not a force??) and instead Einstein says it's like idk ... idk guys!!

What's something that you technically understand, but still seems a bit like magic? I'll start: pulleys.

Ok QC you're the closest thing I have to a physicist on hand, so Why is Newtonian gravity *almost* right - not why is it wrong (I know that's when there's a lot of mass, maybe when there's little too), but why is it so close to general relativity most of the time?

Sorry if you're not actually a physicist and I just dropped this on you I asked someone that was doing an astrophysics degree this once and she didn't understand the question :(

Yeah yeah I know it's a reasonable approximation, you can use it for your math problems, whatever... But like *the essence of what I believe gravity to be* has changed significantly
