mostly just wanted to get it out but commentary you feel like would be helpful is welcome

I find the idea that you just wanted the sensation of getting it out and it has nothing to do with wanting any of the consequences of getting it out
a) laughable, unlikely
b) profoundly pathological

uh... that’s not what i said? why are you being this hostile?

I am reading into the "just". More people should notice "just"s and how much they are hiding.
Hostile... :/? Do I come across as if I want to remove something? What thing?
2
i’m balanced on the edge of blocking but i like your tweets so i’ll wait. i think you’re misreading the “just,” writing things out is useful for me, it’s easier for me to write things out on twitter than privately, i did not intend to imply that i didn’t want feedback

calling something i said “laughable” and “profoundly pathological” reads hostile to me and i think that’s a reasonable read. if you’re trying to pull some socratic questioning with that last tweet i decline. i don’t play games like that with people who tweet like they hate me
2
No, it was an earnest question, for me. I don't like those games either.

okay this is what i was hoping for and why i didn’t just block. the first tweet comes across very hateful for no reason
2
comes across as like you want to lower my status which is the usual kind of aggro i get on the internet and it’s extremely tiresome, which is why i usually block people who do it

What motivates those people?

i haven’t asked them but i think i come across as very full of myself in some of my writing and it pisses people off for various reasons. think i’ve gotten better about this recently but like especially when i was writing about math it was real bad

I don't know if I remember you writing like that (maybe I wasn't reading enough back then though idk)
