rent is a bit high for a USA middle city but the amenities are a little difficult to believe. strong economy, sane politics, decent public transit, fuckloads of parks/bike paths
good hippy/practical mix too

i’ve visited denver and boulder a couple times, have a few friends there, overall like it a lot. if i wasn’t worried about rent or about whether i should live in a city at all boulder might be my top pick
