yea it's a slippery slope. it can help explain some of the macro stuff, and be helpful in understanding why some tendencies and patterns exist, but it's not actually useful for predicting much irl because any individual is way more complex than just what their genes say

actually i think chatting on twitter is super good. i really like being able to QT stuff in a branching thread like this and branch off further

I lose track of what’s going on too easily and where in a conversation different notifications are coming from. At some point a semi-linear chat is much less overwhelming for me

hmm yeah makes sense. i find that my thoughts are naturally very branchy so i love the heavy nonlinearity personally 😛

Yeah I need a spatial visualization for all this. I get almost the same experience of overwhelm from multiple notifications as I do from multiple people speaking at once 😆

i mean i do, but still, it can be overwhelming and judging by the number of people who follow you vs me you get a whole lot of more notifications than i do so i can't even imagine how yours must look like
