Within live-in couples only, what do you think the histogram looks like for number of hugs per day? 12 just still seems like a really high average. (But ok full disclosure I’ve had some pretty low-affection relationships).

One time my sister put a mailing label and a stamp on a single-serve foil-sachet tea bag, and USPS delivered it to me. A whole cup of warm tea isn't as quick-acting as a hug, but I stand by it as a worthy tool in one's care arsenal.

Not all my letter carriers /postal people have accepted tea-bag-letters. One of two that I've tried this with made me put it in an envelope.
