i mean i don't buy the exact number for a second but i at least kinda know what i feel like when i'm getting enough vs. not enough touch and it really does make a gigantic difference

"need for maintenance" implies conversely that you are not achieving "maintenance" if u fail to meet the criteria ... not sure what "maintenance" means but sounds like something i want!
