I’d say naval voice is a little different; this style strikes me as the latest in a long history of salesy copy on the web. You’ll find it in old marketing forums, ebook/course squeeze pages, and most recently on linkedin

Before it came to *this* part of Twitter, you’d find strains of it in manosphere twitter. “A.B. C. Tell your son this.”
