to be clear i have nothing but sympathy for parents who can’t afford homeschooling etc. but the deal is i also have nothing but sympathy for parents who can and want to and do. good on you. hopefully we’ll come back for the rest of the kids later

Do we have a list of active, current alternatives to school that are already implemented somewhere in the world and that are Probably Not Traumatic? Seems like directing people interested in not traumatising their kids to these gets them more resources, plus they already exist.

Schoolishness is a term of art within the deschooling community. Eg they use it a lot on raisingfreepeople.com It's like, reduced agency, indoctrinated, waiting for permission, etc
