I was suspicious about this after noticing that whenever my son had a nightmare and I slept in his room, I'd end up in a really bad mood in the morning, moreso than hours of sleep alone would predict. Bought a CO2 monitor, and ... yup.

I sleep with the windows closed and majority of the time wake up rested and relaxed. I don't have a schedule in my life; so I wake up when I'm ready.

Possible confounding variables: places where open windows let in sound or excess light that are already contributing to poor sleep
