Not aware of any papers but I got an Awair to diagnose sleep issues I was having (headaches on waking). My room's CO2 levels turned out to be far above "safe" from lack of ventilation at night.

oh, nice. i was just gonna experiment with sleeping with door open, but if this is cheap enough ill just get it

Yep. Cracking a door or window was basically my solution anyways.

austrians and germans have huge windows and their beds close to them and sleep with them open, even in winter. portuguese people have small windows with the bed away from them. co2 effects on cognition are v large. if it pans out might be biggest public health intervention

i want to but it’s noisy as hell outside in the morning and there’s bugs 😩

I use a fan for white noise (and it circulates the air!) the white noise prevents the louder but further away noise to penetrate

it’s too loud for that. construction nearby, housemates, occasional sirens :/
