You know how Andy Clark says “thinking is acting (mentally), acting is thinking (embodied)? (i.e., thinking involves mentally simulating actions, acting follows from holding thoughts of actions)

There needs to be equivalent like: Acting is wanting. Wanting is acting. Acting is the mere consequence of holding a want in mind. Wanting exists only in service of prompting action. If you don’t project there being an action that would help, you don’t want.
