starting to suspect that in a functional human community kids should mostly be being taken care of by older kids

it would be a better use of their time than high school and it would prepare them to be better parents later
someone showed me a bit awhile ago about tribal societies where children are mostly taken care of by teenage girls specifically and honestly it makes a lot of sense

TBH, after reading some of smile.amazon.com/Anthropology-C , I get the impression that tribal societies treat kids in all kinds of ways and it's even odds whether any of their practices are sensible or horrid.
