what she means: i have been hurt by men who didn't know how to handle their feelings my entire life and i'm sick of it. now that i know it's possible to take responsibility for your own shit, i'm not gonna put up with people who aren't anymore

what she means: i am beyond grateful for all the progress i feel like i've made in therapy and i fantasize about how much better the world would be if everyone else could make the same kind of progress. it feels too vulnerable to say that tho

what she means: i don't know how to express my feelings except as demands, just like my parents; in demanding that strangers on the internet go to therapy i am actually replaying my family trauma with them. my therapist is not very good
