I'd like to become a really great storyteller. It's the longest term goal I have. Dreams of being 85+ telling phenomenal stories 👵🏾

i've occasionally facilitated events where people take turns practicing telling stories and it is a tooon of fun and people can get a lot better pretty quickly with the right kind of feedback

i actually took notes on these so i can just show you! stuff like eye contact, pedagogy, talking vs. drawing (we used easel pads for drawing quick diagrams a lot)

The ability to tell stories is the kind of internal “right-brain ish” quality I split off when I tried to escape from some misery in mshelf by becoming a ”math person”. Haven’t reintegrated the split parts yet, encouraging to hear it‘s easy to get a lot better at!
