Here is a thread for one of my (stranger) current life experiments. Has anyone else weighed themselves using a digital scale- both before AND after taking a shower or bath?

I have this weird system I've been playing around with- involves using dawn dish soap- and no rough scrubbies. You know when you wash dishes, how sometimes they feel slippery, until they're clean- and then they feel that thing we call 'squeaky clean'? Well. I've noticed my skin

does that, too. It requires staying under hot water for a period of time, and using something highly grease cutting, but gentle. Rinse, then skin feels squeaky clean. But- return to that area of skin a few minutes later, and for me- it feels slippery again. This is pretty much

solely areas of skin like thighs/arms etc. When I do this a number of times, I have been consistently weighing between 2-8 oz less AFTER bathing, than before. Anyone willing to help me gather more data in this weird experiment? Curious if this is just a Me thing, or not!!

That's why I stopped using scrubbies! Just my hands. It honestly began because I felt so gross after being homeless for so long! Got back to my parents' in January of this year. In was trying to get the street off me But abraded my skin some, when I wasn't careful. Just

really gently use my hands to work up lather, then rinse- move onto another spot, repeat, working my way around. Also why I mentioned that I use Dawn! Most of the chemicals/fragrances in body washes dry my skin out. This method, does not!
